Dr. Johnson earned her Ph.D from Florida State University in 2005. While in the Neuroscience program, her dissertation focused on the role of actin in dendritic spine proliferation in the hippocampus. Dr. Johnson now teaches a number of undergraduate neuroscience courses, including Introduction to Brain and Behavior (PSB2000), Sensation and Perception (EXP3202), Physiological Psychology (PSB3004), and Research Methods (PSY3213C). Additionally, she teaches the graduate-level Vertebrate Neuroanatomy (PSB5230C) course.
Dr. Kerr, (otherwise known as "Sandy") is the psychologist-in-residence at the FSU Psychology Clinic. He supervises graduate students, acts as a licensed consultant to graduate students on a daily basis, and also carries his own caseload of clients.
Dr. Kerr also has a general clinical practice and is an experienced clinical psychologist. He sees clients from FSU as well as from the Tallahassee area and south Georgia.
Dr. Lane earned her MS and PhD from University of Texas at Arlington in social and evolutionary psychology. She has been teaching at Florida State since Fall 2006. She teaches four classes a semester, normally child psychology, social psychology, research methods, psychology of women or new student seminar. Dr. Lane is also the Psi Chi (psychology honor society) adviser.
Dr. Sullivan is an adjunct instructor who regularly teaches undergraduate courses in the Department of Psychology. He received his Psy.D. (Doctor of Psychology) degree after interning for one year at FSU's Student Counseling Center.
Dr. Harrison received her B.A. degree in Psychology from Spelman College in 1995 and earned her MS (1998) and PhD (2001) in Clinical Psychology from Purdue University. Her psychology residency was completed in 2001 at the Medical College of Georgia/Veterans Affairs Medical Consortium in Augusta, Georgia. She is currently the psychologist for the Positive Behavior Support Team at Southwestern State Hospital, located in Thomasville, Georgia. She primarily teaches Psychology and Law (SOP3751), but has also held undergraduate Child Development and graduate Assessment teaching assignments.
